The Adaptation Research Alliance (ARA) is an international coalition of over 90 organizations across 30 economies that brings together governments, businesses, research institutes, and local communities to increase the resilience of those most vulnerable to climate change. It aims to catalyze increased investment in action-oriented research, providing a common platform for planning research and its uptake.
The Knowledge and Innovation Exchange, a partnership between IDRC and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), launched the third of four regional competitive calls to generate and mobilize innovative knowledge for education challenges shared across GPE member countries.

Together with the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), IDRC has awarded CA$11.1 million to four regional learning partners who will design and operate hubs for the Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIX).
